Learning about The Women's Role

Hello, I'm Avigayil in Boston, Massachusetts.

My goal is not so much to talk, but rather to invite you to share your experiences as a woman or girl in 

Orthodox Judaism

I was reading on the Chabad.org site, and a woman author there shared that when she was first becoming observant, she ran out of the Shacharis service in tears, having learned that women were not counted in the census

I could relate to her experience. 

The story brought back so many memories!
